Get Running with TeamCAFOD!

In this early part of the year we at CAFOD are beginning to look ahead to some of the biggest and most exciting events of 2014. The Yorkshire Marathon, Great North Run and Leeds 10K all promise to be as big as ever and you can be part of them with TeamCAFOD!

This year will be the biggest Yorkshire Marathon to date with 7000 places sold out in just ten minutes! Meanwhile the ballot remains open for the Great North Run until 5th February 2014 and registration is open for the Leeds 10K.

The lucky people who secure their places in these runs are now invited to select a charity to run and raise money for and of course we’d love it if they chose CAFOD.

Any sponsorship you raise will make a real difference to the lives of men, women and children living in poverty overseas and when joining TeamCAFOD, you’ll receive:

  • An awesome running rest
  • Regular E-Newsletters containing training schedules and fundraising tips
  • A comprehensive sponsorship pack
  • Lots of support in the lead up to the day!

To take part in any of these amazing events simply go to to find everything you need to know about the run of your choice.

If you’re planning on participating in one of these runs and have a special story to tell, then please get in touch. Maybe you’ve never run before or have been to somewhere CAFOD and its partners work? If this sounds like you, please email or call 0113 275 9302.

Don’t forget, we’d love to hear about anything that is happening, now or in the future, whether it’s for Lent or anything else CAFOD- so we can help you get the coverage it deserves!
