Harvest Briefings 2016

We are delighted to announce the dates for the Harvest Briefings, sharing information about out Harvest Fast Day appeal. All CAFOD Parish Volunteers are welcome to join, please email us to confirm you are attending and which date you prefer.

All Parish volunteers are encouraged to attend and to share the dates with other parishioners in their local churches who might be interested in finding out more about CAFOD’s work with communities in Bolivia.

CAFOD’s Bolivia Programme Manager, Nikki Evans will be attending on Sat 24th September at St Joseph’s Church Hall, Pontefract.

Parish volunteers, CAFOD groups and CAFOD supporters are all welcome to attend the Harvest Briefings and hear how Nicanora and her neighbours are about to start a two-year journey, working with our partners, to grow enough food not only for their families to eat, but also to sell to earn an income. Over the next two years Nicanora will work with our partners to build a vegetable garden, greenhouse, wormery and install irrigation on her land, all of which will help her to grow enough good, nutritious food to feed her family.
